A Recent Renovation

    The pictures above represent a recent kitchen renovation completed by Decker Construction.  The kitchen renovation process for this customer took approximately 4 weeks to complete.

    The process began by the customer deciding the style of kitchen they desired.  From this desire a kitchen cabinet design was chosen.  In this particular job, most of the details and design including the floor, granite, paint and other parts of the kitchen were based off the cabinets.  Next a moulding design was established.   After all styles were chosen, the design process began. 

    Once I had an understanding of what the customer envisioned for their kitchen, I could give my suggestions on what would best suit their needs.  I measured the kitchen, and then came up with drawings for the customer to look at. 

    Once the customer approved the drawings and it fit within their budget, materials were ordered.  It took approximately 4 weeks to receive the cabinets after they were ordered.  This is a pretty standard timeline.  Demolition that was needed was started approximately 1 week before the cabinets arrived.  While awaiting the arrival of our cabinets, we installed the new engineered wood floor.  Once the cabinets arrived, they were installed.  Next the granite was templated.  After templating, it can take up to 3 weeks to have the granite cut and installed.  In this case it took 3 weeks.  After the granite was installed, all the appliances and sink were installed, followed by backsplash and other small details.

The customers are now enjoying their wonderful new kitchen! - Jeremy
